DESCRIPTION:
Swiss, Cylinder Music box, 6-Bells in sight, playing 12 tunes, with tune sheet, a large box with 13" cylinder, in a veneer over pine box with inlay, C.1870
CONDITION:
playing generally fair to good, the following items are in need of restoration: case lock, lid restrainer [inside but detached], one bell tooth [see left of photo about 1/3 of dampers seem worn/absent. Despite one bell not playing, it plays the 12 tunes well enough to pick them out: La Petite, Le Fille, Aeip-Aeip, Patience, La Mascotte, Martha (The Last Rose of Summer), Les Monsquetaires, Polka (Carmen), Romance of the Flowers (Faust), Old Robin Gray, Tyrolienne, & Gentle Annie.
